Step into Perth’s home styling scene with Eskay Design
When you look local for furniture and decor, you get to experience the quality firsthand. See the colours, feel the textiles and textures on your skin, and take in the size and presence of pieces visually. The goal is to have a clear concept of how your interiors will come together, something Perth’s Eskay Design, of course, knows well.
With over thirty years combined experience in the Western Australian building industry, this design duo has handpicked their three favourite spots to shop local. Follow their lead to discovering standout designs, from statement sofas to one-of-a-kind trinkets and tableware, to create a space that truly feels like home.
Granite Lane
6/408 Scarborough Beach Rd, Osborne Park
Starting from a simple vision for filling Perth’s unique decor needs, Bianca and Marcus created Granite Lane in 2015, a place that today stands proud as one of Australia’s most esteemed hubs for interior styling, furniture, and homewares. Eskay Design highlights it as a vital source for “beautiful furniture and homewares including many WA-made products…one of our best ‘go-to’ for feature bathroom mirrors.” Each piece in the showroom is a blend of inspiration drawn from Australia’s rich landscapes with a distinct global perspective, curated to elevate any home with style, a sense of place, and purpose.
First Avenue
Barberry Square Shopping Centre, Kalamunda
Perched in the Perth hills with two Kalamunda locations, First Avenue has earned its stripes as a destination for unique home accessories and gifts. Perth locals travel far and wide to visit its stores teaming with gorgeous glass, kitchen and tableware, home decor, furniture, through to bespoke fragrance collections. “This is one of our local favourites in the Perth hills,” Eskay Design says. “Their stores offer an array of inspiring pieces, inviting you to indulge in the joy of discovery and the art of living well.” The stores also come alive at Christmas with a winter wonderland filled with gifts and decorations.
Arrival Hall
162 Aberdeen St, Northbridge
A hidden gem where Scandi design and artful culinary delights converge, Arrival Hall is an interior lover’s dream locale where you’re encouraged to linger longer. Since its inception, it has evolved into a space showcasing international brands, such as Muuto, HAY, Vitra, Bolia and Ferm Living alongside homegrown favourites like Robert Gordon, Orbitkey and Bondi Wash. “Edgy homewares with a beautiful Scandinavian influence, the store has a great vibe and an awesome cafe,” Eskay Design says. The restored Northbridge heritage home is a place where every visit offers inspiration and a warm welcome, continuing the founders’ vision to revolutionise the retail experience with quality, design, and a taste of local cafe culture.
